Oneāour meditation registers as deep sleep by Fitbit. Since this appears to be the only "deep sleep" I get, meditation has to be a part of my sleep routine.
It improves heart rate variability, which, in turn, is good for all sorts of things for you. I need to start meditating. Or something. But I spend all my time that's not occupied with work or useful things, on reading news.
Unfortunately, reading news these days only increases anxiety. You can start with simple breathing exorcises or even regular walks. Consistency is key.
