One–our meditation registers as deep sleep by Fitbit. Since this appears to be the only "deep sleep" I get, meditation has to be a part of my sleep routine.
It improves heart rate variability, which, in turn, is good for all sorts of things for you. I need to start meditating. Or something. But I spend all my time that's not occupied with work or useful things, on reading news.
