timeletsBy now, the public has gotten numb to the idiotic things our so-called president is famous for saying. I'm probably simplifying a lot, but to me the most important political issue for 2018 is market correction. If the market goes down 10-15 percent, the Republicans lose the House. Otherwise, they have a good chance to retain control of the government.
Inflation is picking up because the economy is at full employment and a significant portion of corporate tax cuts is being funneled to retain workforce, instead of investment. (treasury yields are already rising). Soon, Fed will start raising interest rates. Goldman says that a 10-20% correction can hit in a few months, depending on the Fed's aggressiveness. Need to check volatility prices.
