У меня был отличный дядя, мамин брат, который жил рядом со станцией метро Московская. Там еще недалеко был филателистический киоск, где я купил своим первые красивые марки из какой-то африканской страны. Мали, кажется, или Бурунди.

Каждый раз, когда я приезжал к нему похвастаться своими успехами, он бормотал с улыбкой: "Ой, не шейте вы ливреи, евреи." Я каждый раз спрашивал, что за ливреи, и он каждый раз отвечал, что есть такая песня хорошая, которую надо напевать еврейским детям вместо колыбельной.

Так вот, когда недавно израильтяне бурно радовались символическим жестам Трампа о признании Голанских Высот и переноса посольства в Иерусалим, я вспоминал своего дядю и колыбельную про ливреи.
