Tai Chi Chuan journal #1

My Tai Chi teacher urged me (again!) to start a journal and write down various things that I learned during each practice or lesson. Here's what we focused on today:

- When moving a body part make sure you have a fixed point. The body part, e.g. hand, stretches connections against the point (shoulder).

Because of about 78,000 votes in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, he won the electoral votes needed to be elected president.

RIP

Вчера покончил самоубийством школьный друг моего учителя тайчи. Уехал в лес и застрелился в машине. Он много болел. Три недели назад в очередной раз сходил к врачу и, видимо, ему там что-то сказали необратимое.

С одной стороны, хорошо, что принял решение и отмучился. С другой, неужели нельзя найти более достойный способ уйти из жизни, чем разбрызгивание мозгов по машине. Даже собак сейчас усыпляют, чтобы они не мучились, и чтобы рядом были те, кто любят. Убийц-преступников тоже не мучают. А для нормального человека вместо помощи и сострадания - вторая поправка.
