Инновации в Северной Корее

Как стало известно “Ъ”, руководство Нижегородского университета имени Лобачевского неожиданно уволило проректора по инновациям — известного венчурного инвестора Кендрика Уайта, который является гражданином США. Увольнение последовало после выхода программы «Вести недели» Дмитрия Киселева: авторы задавались вопросом, как вышло, что американец работает в российском вузе и повесил на стены портреты западных ученых. Ректор университета Евгений Чупрунов отказался комментировать “Ъ” кадровое решение, заявив лишь, что «время сейчас такое». http://www.kommersant.ru/doc/2758406

Импортозамещение головного мозга в России продолжается. С одной стороны, идиотизм, конечно, увольнять Кендрика. А с другой - зачем ректору университета рисковать собственной должностью ради каких-то инновационных проектов? Пусть лучше отечественные аммосовы занимаются профанацией под наукообразным названием "онтология Остервальдера".

Нашел фрагмент киселевской программы о Kendrick White. Ужас-ужас-ужас! То, что в Китае, Сингапуре, Корее, и других успешных странах Азии работает образцом научно-технического сотрудничества между университетами и обмена студентами, в России показывают как американскую диверсию. Видимо, хуйло окончательно впал в паранойю.

Italy and Spain lent money to Greece :)

The europeans are great at postponing tough decisions and dragging out difficult negotiations. No matter the outcome of the July 5 referendum, the EU will not kick Greece out of EU until at least the end of the year. It's a prediction, not a promise :)

If I were to go back in time, looking for a turning point that eventually led SCOTUS to the legalization of same-sex marriages, my candidate #1 would be the invention of the Pill. Before the Pill, a union between a man and a woman, barring health problems, had to result in having babies. Young people just wanted to have lots of sex, but it required a recognized commitment, which the institute of marriage traditionally provided.

After the Pill, a man and a woman could live happily ever after while just having fun instead of babies. Therefore, children stopped being the natural outcome of having regular sex. Thus, getting married without kids became a valid goal for a union between two consenting adults. If not having children in marriage is ok, then why not allow gays to marry? They don't even need to use the Pill for contraception!
