This song, as I understand it, is a song of/about Soviet-minded people who willingly and consiously agree to be fooled up and fucked up. Its protagonists are not just victims of lie, but accomplices of lie. Is it the case for today's Americans? I hope they have wider access to information and have the whole tradition of independent thinking, so they are not doomed to buy the lie. Maybe I am too optimistic about them?

Если номинацию выиграл бы Блумберг, то Сандерс бы привлек за него своих избирателей. То есть, у нас был бы лучший из вариантов: умеренный кандидат с деньгами плюс дополнительная явка.
