We have not 
          the slightest ground 
                             absolutely 
                                     to admit the existence 
of an object

         whose existence 
                         is absolutely necessary —

               we possess

such a being? 

The answer is: 
                It is the existence 
of the world 
              which renders 
                          this hypothesis 
                                     necessary. 

But this answer

                                                   the idea of 
this being, 
           like all other speculative ideas, is 
                                                essentially 
nothing more 
              than a demand upon 
                                  reason 
that it shall regulate 
                       the connection which it 
                                          and its subordinate 
faculties introduce into 
                          the phenomena of 
the world 
             by principles of 
                              systematic unity 
and, consequently, 
                  that it shall regard 
                                      all phenomena as 
originating from 
                   one 
                         all-embracing 
being, 
        as the supreme 
                            and 
                                  all-sufficient 
                                                   cause.

Насколько я понимаю, это не доказательство, а объяснение того, что разум не может воспринимать мир без предположения его единства. Он это называет, regulative principles of systematic unity.

Логично, конечно. Проблемы в головах, включая regulative priniciples. Ох.

У него есть классная идея об иллюзиях разума (софизмы): которые он раскрывает по аналогии с иллюзиями чувств, например, зрения, когда мы видим радугу там, где зрение+мозг объединяют изображения в один объект.
Но если радугу можно достаточно легко исследовать на практике, иллюзии разума исследовать сложно, потому что они зашиты в голове.

С иллюзиями разума еще хуже, потому что прошлое моментально расплывается, если не зарегистрировать тут же. То, что мы помним - это, в основном, тоже иллюзия. Которая меняется во времени, и это изменение объясняется тем, что, мол, "теперь мне стало ясно".
