The 12% fall in aluminum prices happened on the world markets. Meanwhile, because of the tariffs, prices in the US grew by 26%. As a direct result of boneheaded protectionism, American companies and consumers are paying more for the same commodity and the idiots (79% of Trump voters) are cheering.
