Jun. 6th, 2018 10:04 pmIt's just occurred to me that there's an inherent connection between the associativity requirement and the risk profile of a composite (function}. When specialized processes take time (and resources), adding resources (redundancy) to an associative composite process reduces the risk, while doing the same for a non-associative one doesn't.
For example, we can now show that the imposition of tariffs not only increases inefficiency because of increased prices, but it also increases the risks in the system. In short, we can show rigorously that the tariffs make the US worse off both economically and wrt national security. More generally, we can make a case for the positive impact of global free markets on the world's security.
... we can think about time as a recovery resource.
,,, siege mentality (tribalism) increases demand (value) for local resources and national security. возможно отсюда идет сходство между ватниками и трамповатниками.
