Peterson & Haidt point out several interesting dilemmas:
openness vs conscientiousness, esp. orderliness (related - disgust);
thick borders prevent information passing through vs the borders should be thicker to prevent contamination ( the Omnivore's dilemma - see Tyler Cowan)
a conservative is someone who wants the borders b/w categories to remain intact no matter what level of analysis; it's borders b/w the highest resolution of levels of cognition all the way to the actual physical borders of rooms, towns, states, countries.
