I'm confused. Does the word "function" here represent a function as an arrow in CT, or is it just another word for "purpose" and it stands for something else? For example, a shoe has the purpose to protect my foot, etc. Therefore, can I say that it maps a bare foot to a protected foot?
shoe: bare foot -> equipped foot
