We know for sure that psychological pressure, rest & sleep deprivation forces people to make mental mistakes. After years of hearing "we-can-fix-it" promises, our only hope is that 50 tired, post middle-aged people will solve a fundamental social problem by making a series of errors. No shit.
Thursday night’s enterprise could be challenging physically as well as politically for some senators. As the hours wear on, they will be required to keep going without breaks. In the past, lawmakers have found ways to eat, but sleep in particular will be harder to facilitate. The process is expected to end at some still-undetermined hour Friday morning.
