We watched The Big Short last night and it felt like an ad for Donald Trump's presidential campaign: the elites don't give a shit about the people of this country. When we take into account that Hillary Clinton was a senator from New York from 2001 to 2009, the message becomes even stronger: instead of looking out for the people's interests, she participated in or at least looked away from the Wall Street shenanigans.

Overall, the current political problem, esp. for the Democrats, is that they are obsessed with issues concerning vocal minorities and have forgotten about issues that are important for the majority.
