Legal prostitution
Jun. 10th, 2015 02:14 pmHere's an interesting discussion about legalization of prostitution (in Russian). Frankly, I don't know how to approach the subject rationally.
The supply and quality of sex services is likely to increase. In the short term, "regular" women are going to be at a disadvantage because, unlike prostitutes, they don't specialize in sex. We might see an increase in demand for sex training services, both for prostitutes and "regular" women. Hard to say what will happen in the long term. The supply and quality of free sex will probably go down. Ultimately, wealthier guys and skillful (young?) women are going to benefit the most.
