Android изначально был открытой платформой. Но над Android надстроено много компонентов, без которых телефон — это просто железка. Эти закрытые компоненты туда никого не пускают. То есть фактически Android, заявленный открытым, никакой не открытый и чем дальше, тем больше становится полностью закрытой системой. Все больше важных функций уходит из открытой части в закрытую — GMS (Google Mobile Services).

It looks like the entire CIA interrogation program was a major organizational fuckup. Maybe that's why the democrats chose to expose it. On the other hand, the current political peace and quiet around NSA surveillance makes me think that they've been much more successful than their CIA rivals. If I were a conspiracy theorist I would assume that the Intelligence Committee report is a decoy.
