Oct. 26th, 2023 10:52 pmOver the last couple of weeks, some of us have made a remarkable discovery. It turns out that while from a progressive's point of view it's not ok to psychologically discriminate against people by excluding them from certain social activities, projects or meetings, abducting Jewish women, children and elderly is ok. Also, while fat shaming is a big no-no, killing Jewish women, children and elderly can be justified by one's anti-colonialism.
The discovery can't be undone. Although it's not clear yet what to do about it, something definitely has to be done to deal with the problem. In the meantime, no progressive political candidate will ever get my vote or campaign contribution until they denounce Hamas and those who provide it with moral cover. This time it's personal.
