I remember visiting an office of the first Swedish internet provider (in 1994); the guy was ecstatic about this and that; and there was a woman on the floor, sweeping the floor. Turned out it was his mother. Turned out it was her who financed all that. She was a multimillionaire. But she did not mind sweeping the floor. That's the part I liked in Swedish culture. And the food. The rest I detested.
Very interesting. I've never been to Sweden, but the Swedes I know here and the first impression I got from their visitors can be tentatively described as "escape from Jantalagen."
