Yesterday I learned that marriages between blacks and whites were illegal in 17 US states until 1967.

Most likely there will be major differences across this line another 50 years from now. In modern Poland, people still have different attitudes toward economic development models, depending on which empire the area belonged to in the beginning of the 20th century. I wonder how this works.

Пару лет назад был такой хороший фильм - Loving vs State of Virginia - как раз про ту пару, которая дошла до Верховного суда, который, наконец, и покончил с этим.

Guess who... это просто про interracial dating, там все довольно розово. Loving - ближе к реальности.

Guess who – памятник, т.е. фильм того времени, поэтому хорошо видно, что люди были сильно озабочены проблемой, которой сегодня, нет.
