Remarkably, Hillary Clinton created a social group by giving the Deplorables their identity - that was her major political innovation (hating her is part of the identity). At this point, the Deplorables will continue to support the so-called president and other Moore-like idiots because most people outside of the group generally treat them with disgust and disdain. We'll see how the new social dynamic will play out in the 2018 elections.
