Now, after reading the Haidt's book and listening to his talks, I understand why people's attitudes toward the Clinton email server differed so much. Those, like myself, who tend to view the world through the "Harm/Good" moral lense saw no harm done to anybody throughout the entire episode. By contrast, those who tend to view the world through the "Authority/Chaos" and "Proportionality/Fairness/Cheating" lenses saw the whole affair as a violation of basic moral norms.
