timeletsIn real life it is really difficult to observe professionals working at the top of their abilities. Sometimes you can get a glimpse of a brilliant idea developed by a colleague or get an insight from an advisor, be it a doctor, a lawyer or even a plumber.
Sports competitions would present a remarkable exception. In a professional league you can see incredible performances day in and day out. Professional athletes score goals or make amazing saves on a routine basis, you can see that with your own eyes because the performances stand out against the background of other players.
Another exception is books. It takes years to write a good text, but because you can easily put together a good reading list it becomes possible to maintain the quality of your intellectual experience for long periods of time.
What else? Maybe music... The list of activities is rather short.
