This fall squirrels got so fat, they ripped Internet wires off our house. For a couple of days the connection had been somewhat intermittent, I thought the modem was getting flaky. In the morning a neighbor knocked on the door and told me how a squirrel almost got crashed by a car when it fell down on the road along with our wires. The wires are dead, the squirrel has survived.

Also, there's a lot of deer in the park. Yesterday I was hiking and one of them was standing on the trail, thinking real hard whether it should let me pass or not. Finally, when I was about ten feet away it moved to the side. The nature shows her utter disrespect for us, civilized citizens.
