We are entering the Golden Age of the long-form of video narrative. The new digital production and distribution technologies are having the same effect as the introduction of sound, color and TV back in the 20th century. And we are not in 3D yet.

BTW, Ricky Gervais looked like a total asshole at the yesterday's Golden Globes. Everything he wanted to say had been already said ten times more skillfully by Tarantino in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. The contrast between Tarantino, the Master, and Gervais, the invited Fool, was remarkable.

Overall, I see very little celebration in Israel wrt the death of their supposedly most vicious enemy. Even Netanyahu is not buying into it.
