Сегодня во сне понял, что меня так раздражает в сетевых дискуссиях: отсутствие нулевой гипотезы (null hypothesis), начиная от рассуждений об экономике и иммиграции, до расходов на оборону стран НАТО и цен на нефть. "Естественным" образом в любительских обсуждениях сложных вопросов предполагается причинно-следственная связь, а для нулевой гипотезы требуются доказательства.
