It's remarkable how American business leaders' attitude toward our so-called president has changed over the last 10 months. They started by reacting with understanding to his tweets and joining him on various industrial policy committees. They even attempted to adjust their investment plans according to proclaimed MAGA goals. Stocks would go up and down, depending on Covfefe's early morning tweetstorms.

No more. Nowadays, they ignore him at best or show him the middle finger when he says something even remotely relevant to their businesses. Basically, Tillerson summarized the feeling when he called him "a fucking moron." I'd venture to say that the proposed corporate tax cut is not going to change the attitude because it doesn't change the existing competitive landscape. On the other hand, because of Covfefe's verbal incontinence American business reputation has suffered abroad and exporters are starting to feel it, especially, in Asia.

A friend told me that they caught their daughter doing her elementary school homework by asking Alexa. And they didn't know whether to scold or praise her for that.

In any case, it's a sign of things to come.
