Народ, Закон и Великие Лидеры

Продолжаю слушать лекции о Торе (Ветхий Завет) - дошел до 10-ти заповедей и общей структуры иудейских законов. Одна из идей, которая мне показалась неожиданной: Тора впервые в античном мире установила принцип равенства членов сообщества, включая иностранцев(!), перед законом. Кроме того, сами законы суть выражение воли единого Бога и их выполнение - моральная обязанность членов сообщества.

Пока слушаю, бегаю по ФБ и ЖЖ, цепляюсь глазами за обсуждения суда над Савченко, опросом, кто самый лучший лидер России/СССР всех времен, и кто лучше Сталин или Гитлер.

Контраст неимоверный. Тут ведь очень просто: если народ изучает и соблюдает Закон, то ему не нужны великие лидеры.

In the meantime, my tai-chi is improving, although I haven't seen my teacher in more than a week and he might have a different opinion. Importantly, I feel that my concentration has gotten better. Purely by accident, I switched the order of my routine — Chen form first, Yang second — and it produced a totally different awareness dynamic. Since I know Chen worse than Yang, it requires more focus and, as a consequence, it's harder for me to exercise in a "zombi" mode when I tend to do things mechanically, probably because the body already knows what to do without me being conscious of the moves. Starting with Chen, the form that I barely know, helps my mind to engage much more quickly and somehow the level of engagement doesn't fall off when I finish the Chen routine and go to Yang.
