And he stood up on the stage in the cafeteria holding a sign that read: “I kno it’s A little Late, But I’m kinda…THE BOMB! Rilea, Will U Be My Date To Prom?”

“I’m Middle Eastern, and I thought the bomb was kind of funny and clever,” he said. “I wasn’t wearing the vest for more than, like, 20 seconds. I asked her, took a picture, took it off, and then the school got upset.”

Ahmad contends he didn’t break any school rules and added that the girl, Rilea Wolfe, said yes. But school Superintendent Mark Mansell said Ahmad clearly deserved some sort of punishment for disrupting the learning environment.

Примерно в середине он говорит о своей позиции по оружию для Украины:
– То есть речь идет не только о финансовой помощи, но и, например, о поставке оружия. Чего опасаются те в Вашингтоне, кто выступает против поставок оружия в Украину? Каково ваше мнение по этому поводу?
– Я лично за. Но некоторые люди в Белом доме считают, что если это произойдет, будет эскалация. Они считают, что если будет поставка оружия, тогда будет и ответ Путина. И это будет плохо для вас. Это их аргумент. Я не согласен. Эскалация уже была и будет.

– Но речь же идет даже не о летальном оружии, а об оружии сдерживания, защиты.
– Я все время говорю с людьми у власти и в обществе, что именно защита будет помогать деэскалации. Это военный спор, и я уважаю тех, кто с этим не согласен. Но это моя позиция.
Моя вторая позиция, которую я считаю важной. Если все-таки будет ответ Путина, то на кого будет направлен его ответ? Не на нас. На вас. Поэтому если вы считаете, что нужна такая военная помощь, то мой ответ – мы должны помогать тем, кто готов получить ответ Путина. Я думаю, что после выборов (в США – УП) будет другая политика.
