Make love, not war

timeletsI've been thinking why it feels so good to be on campus, especially, in the beginning of the quarter. [skip a bunch of musings here]
One reason could be love. That is, all these young kids are beginning to fall in love with each other. No breakups, no hurt feelings yet; mostly hope and love. It's a huge contrast with "the other" real life where people already know what to expect from each other. It's even a greater contrast with LJ where the war b/w Russia and Ukraine has generated and continues to generate an enormous amount of meanness and hatred. But on campus it feels like spring.
