US banking system is regulated/supported by the government of the United States elected by and responsible to the people of the United States. If preventing collapse of the US banking system required it to be permanently (and not as a matter of occasional emergency) supported by the government of Australia, I would, certainly, avoid keeping my money in US banks. One should never be the "white man's burden": besides of all his other multiple faults, the white man might choose to drop you at any moment.

Failure to evacuate and receive refugees in a timely manner is, certainly, a major and inexcusable blunder - and a moral flaw - of the Biden administration, for which it deserves the highest censure. Failure to sustain a government for Afghanistan was highly predictable: today is no better or worse than any other moment it could have occurred. It is, of course, an irresponsibility: but, then, where is it written that Americans have to be responsible to the people of Afghanistan?

And I am not, really, blaming the Afghans here: not even Ashraf Ghani. US had the power to impose a government of its own convenience on Afghanistan: and it did so. True "nation-building" requires humility: not a common feature among those who like to complain about how hard it is to be a god.
