He had workers around him, he blabbered about national security threats posed by foreigners, great American industry, etc. Remember how he bragged about new investments into steel plants built because of his tariffs? Well, people who trusted his policies are screwed.
Now the tariffs are gone because Chuck Grassley(R) wouldn't support the updated NAFTA. So much for the workers, the industry, and national security.
