I find that reading Kant and Hegel straight up is practically impossible because sentences on the page fuse into a waterfall of gibberish. Paradoxically, listening to a librivox recording (THANK YOU librivox volunteers!) of the same work or reading after listening makes their philosophy quite enjoyable. It feels like taichi: slowing down movements enhances understanding and performance.
