Why milk and cheese in the States suck?

There is plenty of good imported cheese, from Mexican whites to Spanish Manchego. No reason to complain, really. And it can be delivered to your door:)

Sorry to hear that. My family stopped using milk a while ago... just happened. Part of the family is lactose intolerant, and the other part (me) is indifferent and does not mind “almond milk” or other plant-based “milks.”

Good question.

Actually, there's a store on Castro in M.V. where they sell real raw milk.
And there are stores where they sell good cheese.
The problem may be that there's hardly any demand. It's like looking for sour cream in Sweden or cottage cheese in France.

It's especially unbearable for the people who knew what a good product tastes like.
I can hardly stand eggs that are more than 7 days old.
