For a soldier, it's relatively easy to translate their hatred of the enemy into direct action: kill the bastards. For the rest of us, killing the enemy directly is not an option. Therefore, we can act by helping the soldier, by helping the enemy's victims, by denying the enemy any ability to do harm now and in the future.
