In sharp contrast with American urban centers, I've never seen homeless people in major European cities. Why is that?

Wait. Gare du Nord, Paris. Budapest, around forgot which train station, Déli, probably.

Good point. Maybe in Europe they are concentrated around transportation hubs, not touristy places, like in the US.
