As I'm reading
ivanov_petrov's old posts about systems, two thoughts come to mind:
1. LiveJournal was totally different 7 years ago.
2. The system notion of "дырка" can be illustrated with an interception in popular ball/puck games: soccer, football, basketball, hockey, etc. That is, a highly specialized system with set plays and pre-defined roles is prone to disruptions. An interceptions creates a new kind of connection that turns the system that "has the ball" upside down. Just a thought.
