Lawyers are deliberately taught to separate matters of fact, opinion and law. For example, "Обама надавил" is a matter of fact; "позорный закон" is a matter of opinion. Whether in a particular Supreme Course case the First Amendment rights prevail over economic rights is a matter of precedent-setting law.

In court, personal opinions are valued the least. By contrast, in everyday life personal opinions, especially MY OPINIONS, are valued the most.
