I no longer wonder why Frege thought he discovered the Third Realm. Just thinking systematically about numbers 0,1,2 is totally fascinating. You can create an entire religion out of them.
For example, 0 represents the void; 1 represents God, i.e. the source of unity and uniqueness ; 2 represents a lot of fundamental human concepts, e.g. Heaven and Earth, Good and Evil, Light and Darkness, Adam and Eve, etc.
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 Now the earth was unformed and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters.
3 And God said: 'Let there be light.' And there was light.
