With Trump, the only thing we know for sure is that risks — economy, politics, healthcare, pharma, education, finance, international trade, military, environment, etc — will increase. It'll be a good test for the system. Hopefully, the risks will not become compound. In any case, after Trump we'll have more negative externalities than before him.

Wittgenstein in Tractatus:

This connexion of the elements of the picture is called its structure, and the possibility of this structure is called the form of representation of the picture [model].

Similarly, in order to be represented by a Monoid, its elements should be monoidable. In other words, they should enable the possibility of the Monoid structure, including a free Monoid.

It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out in the next 4 years.

XI: Today, mankind has become a close-knit community of shared future. Countries have extensive converging interests and are mutually dependent. All countries enjoy the right to development. At the same time, they should view their own interests in a broader context and refrain from pursuing them at the expense of others.

We should commit ourselves to growing an open global economy to share opportunities and interests through opening up and achieve win-win outcomes.

TRUMP: We assembled here today are issuing a new decree to be heard in every city, in every foreign capital, and in every hall of power. From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land. From this day forward, it’s going to be only America first, America first.

(APPLAUSE)

Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign affairs will be made to benefit American workers and American families. We must protect our borders from the ravages of other countries making our products, stealing our companies and destroying our jobs.

2.1514 The representing relation consists of the co-ordinations of the elements of the picture and the things.
2.1515 These co-ordinations are as it were the feelers of its elements with which the picture touches reality.

--- Wittgenstein. Tractatus.

A - a thing
B - an element of the picture

F: A -> B

I think "the feelers" is a set of Functors that reflect our ability to obtain data from things.

There's a new concept of "tweet risk" in the world now. The risk relates to Trump's itchy fingers that can affect, e.g. stock prices and, potentially, nuclear conflicts.
